Elektra is a very active attorney and is a member of The American Immigration Lawyers Association, Black Entertainment, and Sports Lawyer Association, and The New York City Bar Association, where she is a member of several committees.

As a multicultural attorney, with immigrant parents from Italy and Cote D’Ivoire, Elektra is fully fluent in French, Italian, and Spanish. She has lived, studied, and worked internationally in the US, the EU, and Africa.
Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Arts
Elektra earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Arts from Marymount Manhattan College in NYC, one of the top art schools in the nation.
She wrote, directed, and produced two documentaries (N*gga What? and The Choking Game) which were screened in Texas and New York City.
Kenyi Santana
Operations Manager
My name is Kenyi, I am the Operations Manager at Yao Law Group, where I bring together my expertise in law and case management from Yao Law Group and my background in business management to support our clients and our team. I began my career here as a Legal Administrative Assistant, and my dedication and adaptability allowed me to progress through roles as Junior Paralegal and Head Paralegal, ultimately preparing me for this leadership role of Operations Manager within the firm.
With a degree in Business Management, I’m passionate about applying strategic business practices to optimize our operations. At Yao Law Group, I have learned the value of being client-oriented and understand the importance of not only providing excellent service but also maintaining clear, prompt communication and addressing all client concerns with empathy.
Being in the immigration field holds special meaning for me, as I come from a family of immigrants who came to this country in search of a better future. This personal background strengthens my commitment to every client’s journey. Whether I am answering a question or guiding someone through the legal steps of their case, I find joy in supporting those seeking to build a life in this country of opportunity.
This role allows me to bring together my dedication to both business management and client service, and I am proud to be part of a team that values excellence, compassion, and a client-centered approach.
Hershey Tayo
Head Paralegal
My name is Hershey and I am a Paralegal and passionate Legal Writer who works with numerous international and award-winning artists.
I was a former Legal Intern at the Integrated Bar of the Philippines – Bulacan Chapter, the national organization of Philippine lawyers that provides pro bono services in civil and criminal cases.
I earned her Bachelor’s Degree of Arts in Legal Management from one of the premier state-operated institutions of higher learning in the Philippines. I am a former thesis leader, photojournalist, and a member of her school’s official college publication.
Outside of work, I love spending time with her family, watching movies, reading books, traveling, and being an adrenaline junkie!

My name is Ella Martirosian, and I currently serve as a Legal Administrative Assistant at Yao Law Group, where I work directly with clients and assist in organizing and preparing cases to ensure that all documentation is accurate and thorough.
This pivotal role has sharpened my attention to detail and enhanced my ability to efficiently manage complex tasks. Through my work, I have developed strong communication and organizational skills—essential attributes in the legal field.
I hold a degree in Political Science and Communications, with a focus on Global Politics, which has further strengthened my ability to analyze complex issues, conduct in-depth research, and communicate persuasively. These skills are integral to my current role and continue to evolve as I gain more hands-on experience.
Growing up in a multicultural family has shaped my worldview, allowing me to approach problems with empathy and a broader perspective. Additionally, I am fluent in Russian, which enables me to connect with diverse clients and communities and navigate the complexities of law with greater ease.
